Details:

My daughter is 13 and recently it struck me how quickly time begins to slip away. It becomes very hard to separate my mind's image of a little girl and see the reality of the young woman who is standing in front of me. That is the reason I created Let You Go..because I know one day soon she will be ready to go her own way and I will have to be strong enough to let her go.

Let You Go has 13 beautiful shabby papers and:

Berries, bird, illustration of birds, bird silhouette(2 versions), paper butterfly, clip, dotted backdrop, button flourish(2 versions), 7 mixed flowers, flower border, 4 mixed frames, gem circle, glitter button, grass rings, journaling lines, label, lace frame, lace mattie, poem, word tab, 5 mixed ribbons, ring, rolled flower w gem, box, ribbon for box, stitching, trailing flower, word strip.

The poem reads:

it doesn't seem like so long ago
that i was there to hold you after some small hurt,
there to dry your tears when those hurts got bigger,
always there with a hug and a smile and the promise
that it would get better.

but now i look at you and see a woman
where a girl once stood...
and i know the time is closer that i must let you go--
to fly like a bird, testing her wings.
content to explore the world
but always knowing which wind will take you home.
